		<description>Yes it is true that hotel branded timeshares have forced a lot of smaller companies into less prominent positions, and that some of these smaller companies are nonetheless reliable and provide good services.  But the upside of the hotel branding of timeshares is that many of the smaller companies were, to use a loaded term, scams, and it's a good thing that they're gone or at least not doing as well as they used to. While there may be non-hotel chain timeshare companies still out there that are good and deserving, it's largely a positive development that the large hotels have stepped in to assure quality control and economic fairness.</description>
