Marriott Golf, an Orlando, Florida based golf operations and golf management company that is part of Marriott International, Inc.., has announced an exciting, new golf loyalty program that may make golfing owners of Marriott timeshare (and anyone who enjoys a Marriott timeshare rental or hotel vacation) very happy.
Marriott Golf Links is now part of the Marriott Rewards program, enabling Marriott Rewards members to earn points for their golf expenditures and to redeem their rewards points for golf. Dollars spent on rounds of golf at a Marriott resort, or retail golf merchandise purchased at the pro shop, now translate to earned Marriott Rewards points. And making the program particularly easy for golfers to enjoy is the fact that you don’t have to stay at a Marriott timeshare or Marriott hotel at the time you accrue points – you only have to be golfing, practicing, or buying golf merchandise at a qualifying Marriott resort course. Every dollar spent on a qualifying purchase, translates to 10 Marriott Rewards points earned.
Likewise, from a points redemption perspective, the program flexibility is great. Member golfers can redeem their Marriott Rewards for hotel accommodations, spa treatments, golf instruction, rounds of golf, and other benefits that are part of the Marriott Rewards program.
