Easter Activities Mean Extra Park Hours for Orlando Disney Timeshare Guests

Easter is always a fun time to plan a Disney timeshare vacation and visit the Disney theme parks, and this year is no exception. Disney’s Easter festivities are running throughout this week, April 17-24.
The Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Easter Parade (on Easter Sunday, April 24), will appropriately be hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny and will begin with a special pre-parade show called “Celebrate a Dream come True.” The Main Street Poodle Society Ladies and the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids will join Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Town Square before the parade. Throughout the week, the Bunny family will be greeting park guests, and will most often be found at the Tour Guide Garden at City Hall, Main Street, USA.
Disney’s Epcot will be the site for Easter egg hunts, open to children between the ages of 3 and 9. The egg hunts will be scheduled at 20-minute intervals between 10 AM and 5:20PM at the Heritage Garden at the American Adventure Pavilion. Children ages 6 to 12 can also participate in Easter egg relays at the Future World West Garden, scheduled in 40-minute intervals from 10:40AM to 4:40PM. There, you will also find cupcake decorating stations where young park visitors can decorate their own Easter cupcake.
In Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, look for Thumper and Miss Bunny and a DJ Easter Bunny that will greet park guests on Easter Sunday afternoon for a little Easter “Hip Hop.” And Disney timeshare owners who head to the beach at the Disney Vero Beach Resort will discover the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, on hand to greet them. At the Vero Beach Resort timeshare there will also be an Easter egg hunt, from 7 AM to 9AM on Easter Sunday morning, along with an amazing Easter buffet.
Disney Orlando will host special Easter worship services Sunday April 24, with a Protestant service at 9AM at the Contemporary Resort and Catholic Mass at 8AM and 10:15AM in the Fantasia Ballroom.
Special Discounts and Benefits for Disney Timeshare Owners
As Disney works to make this week ‘egg-actly’ right for their Easter holiday guests, all Disney parks will be offering dining discounts in the park’s quick-service restaurants . A 25 percent discount (excluding alcohol) discount is good for off period dining, before 11:30AM and between 3 and 4:30PM at select park restaurants.
Walt Disney World guests can find their 25 percent discount dining vouchers on the Times Guide available at theme parks and resorts or on the bottom of select receipts for merchandise or quick-service locations. Guests can also access the discount coupon here: Disney dining discount.
Finally, here is a special benefit for Disney timeshare owners, vacationing in the Disney parks. If you are a resort guest at a Disney property or Disney Vacation Club timeshare, Disney will be giving you extra hours to enjoy its parks, with early openings and late closings during selected days in April.
