New HGVC Resort in Myrtle Beach is On Schedule

As promised, here is an update on the new Hilton Grand Vacations Club (HGVC) resort in Myrtle Beach. According the building’s contractor, Landmark Builders, construction is on time and progressing smoothly.
As mentioned previously, the new Hilton timeshare resort is located on Ocean Boulevard at 22nd Avenue North. The total cost of the new resort is estimated to be at least $41.5 million (according to city documents).
When finished, the timeshare resort will feature 24 stories and 220 units. Currently, the crew is constructing the main structure of the resort. Next, Williams and the crew will install frames and glass on the outside of the building. This will allow the team to move forward on the interior renovations.
Vice president with Landmark Builders, Glenn Williams shared, “We’re placing the 15th level slab now. We’ve started some interior work on the lower floors.”
The Hilton Grand Vacation Club resort on Ocean Avenue is the first to be built in Myrtle Beach since 2009 and the recession. The city of Myrtle Beach welcomes the new construction and is excited this boost in their economy.
