Wyndham Recognized as One of the Top 50 Companies for Latina by LATINA Style

Recently, Wyndham Worldwide, parent company of Wyndham Vacation Ownership, was ranked #23 in the Top 50 Companies for Latinas by Latina Style magazine. It is the 6th consecutive year that Wyndham has received this award.

As the leading business news source for Latinas, Latina Style recognizes employers who support diversity in recruiting and hiring. They also support the employment and development of Hispanic women, military veterans, and military personnel.

Eligible candidates were ranked by a survey. Wyndham was pleased to be placed in the 23rd spot out of a total of 50 candidates. Senior VP human resources and chief diversity offer, Wyndham Worldwide Patricia A. Lee said,

The National Council of La Raza, the largest national Hispanic advocacy and civil right organization in America, states that Latinos are the fasting-growing division of the workforce in the U.S. Currently, 23.2 million, Hispanic Americans are employed, that’s about 18% of the American population. By 2050, it is estimated that over 30% of Americans in the workforce will be Hispanic.
