A Message from Villa del Palmar After Hurricane Odile

On September 14th Hurricane Odile struck Los Cabos causing millions of dollars in damage. The Hurricane brought intense rain, wind, and surf patterns which devastated many of the city’s buildings.

Today, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto announced that their resort was not damaged during Hurricane Odile. Villa del Palmar’s media team states that the resort is open and fully functional.

Located on the eastern side of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, the Villa del Palmar Islands Loreto experienced some bad weather and rain, but no serious damage. During the storm all guests were kept safe and comfortable inside the resort.

While many streets in the Cabo area were affected by the hurricane, the streets leading to and from the Islands of Loreto are clear and open. Overall, the resort’s grounds were not affected by the storm.

Guests planning to visit the resort in the next few weeks can expect to receive their anticipated accommodations and amenities. The Loreto International Airport (LTO) has also re-opened. If you have a flight scheduled to leave in the next few days, please contact your airline to ensure that you flight is still scheduled to leave at the same time.
