Exploria Resorts Announces New Vacation Club

On October 1st, Exploria Resorts (formerly Summer Bay Resorts) Executive Vice President Juan Barillas introduced their new vacation club, Club Exploria.
Barillas shared, “This new vacation club will truly change the way we market, sell and service our product into the future. Club Exploria provides members direct access to a growing portfolio of resort destinations numbering more than 25 at the time of launch with an additional 4000+ offered through our worldwide exchange partner, RCI.”
Club Exploria will operate though a points-based program. Points can be used to book vacations at thousands of resort destinations and will be known as “EXPOs”. Rather than being forced to visit the same resort every year, EXPOs will provide members with ultimate flexibility.
President & CEO of Exploria Resorts, Paul Caldwell said, “Timeshare has certainly evolved over the years from the Right to Use and Deeded Fixed Weeks era in the mid-60’s and 70’s, to the Deeded Floating Weeks product in the 90’s, to the introduction of Points and the Branded Clubs in the early 2000’s.”
In addition to accommodations, EXPOs can also be used for travel related costs including cruises, car rentals, attractions, golf, tours, gift cards, shopping, and more.
Barillas added, “We are thrilled to bring this product to market and do what we love to do — bring families together to make vacation memories. It just doesn’t get any better than that!”
The introduction of Club Exploria is just one of the many new travel options from Exploria Resorts. Recently, the hospitality group also acquired two resorts in Florida, the Grand Seas Resort in Daytona Beach and the Ocean Sands Resort in New Smyrna Beach.
Director of Business Development, Santiago Creus said, “The acquisition of these two resorts satisfies the strategic goal of adding a Florida beachfront resort destination to the portfolio and has provided a spark to fuel our growing business model. These two acquisitions provide a direct synergy with the Exploria Resorts flagship property, Summer Bay Orlando.”
