Club Melia Renames Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta Resorts

Melia Hotels International has announced that they will rebrand their Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta resorts into Melia Vacation Club Cozumel and Melia Vacation Club Puerto Vallarta.
Executive Vice President for Club Melia Onofre Servera said,
“The new names and brand reflect the resorts’ new family-focused facilities, services and amenities, including high-level room and guest area enhancements. They both clearly now offer the most expansive family activities program in their renowned destinations exclusively for our members and guests, without losing their competitiveness in the wedding, reception, honeymoon and romance segments, as well as in the meetings, conventions, incentive and events business.”

Located in one of the most popular destinations in Mexico, the newly renamed Melia Vacation Club Puerto Vallarta is one of the club’s most popular resorts. In addition to the rebranding, the resort has also added a few updates. They recently completed a new activity center for children, known as Flintstones Land™. The new recreational area includes the new Baby Rock Club for infants and toddlers and the Bamm Bamm Club for kids ages 5–12. Children can also play video games in the Cool Club room, try their luck at mini golf, jump in the bungee trampoline area, and enjoy a Bronto Breakfast with Flintstones characters.

Melia’s Cozumel location also features a Flintstones-themed section with Kids Car ED, a fun, interactive program where kids can drive on a mini-highway.
