The Villa Group Reveals Plans for New Resort in Cabo

This week, The Villa Group announced plans to build a new resort in Cabo called the Villa La Valencia.

Situated between the regions of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, the resort will be located along Cabo’s “Golden Zone,” one of Mexico’s most popular travel areas. The group already has three other resorts in the Los Cabos area: the Villa del Arco, Villa del Palmar, and Villa La Estancia.

The new Villa La Valencia resort will feature a variety of luxury studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas, with 260 units in total. Many of the units will offer a view of the resort’s beautiful beach or lush tropical gardens.

Owen Perry, an owner of Villa Group said, “Our confidence in the Cabo region as a tourism destination is unwavering, and we’re excited about the prospect of continuing to grow the Villa Group experience in a booming location. This five-star resort will feature all the amenities our guests have grown accustomed to, and more.”

The owners are most excited about the resort’s new pool. Resorts built by The Villa Group feature a signature, reef-inspired pool design, containing a number of aquariums, which guests can view from inside the pool. The aquariums will hold fish and sea life native to the area.

Perry continued, “We’re bringing the reef experience into the pool so that people can experience something truly unique while lounging in comfort poolside.”

As if the beach and the reef pool weren’t enough, the resort will also offer a lazy river. Guests can float down the river in tubes, stopping at river-side bars throughout their journey. The resort will also feature four dining options, fitness center, and a spa.

Construction is expected to begin sometime this winter and be complete by 2017.
