El Cid Hosts Governor’s Cup Golf Tournament

El Cid vacations club

On Thanksgiving Day, El Cid will host the annual Governor’s Cup golf tournament.

The 3rd annual event will be held at the El Cid Golf and Country Club (also known as the Hotel Granada El Cid) in Mazatlan, Mexico.

The event is an invitational tournament, meaning that participants in the tournament itself are welcomed by invitation only. The tournament will be divided into several categories based on skill. Prizes will be award to winners in each category.

As Mexico offers some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world, the event is not only a great opportunity for golfers, but a chance for spectators to enjoy the beauty of the course. Therefore, El Cid also invites owners, guests, and locals to come and watch the tournament.

The El Cid resort understands that guests are looking to make the most out of their vacation, especially when vacation in Mazatlan. The tournament is an excellent chance for guests to experience something new by walking the golf course and maybe even planning a tee time of their own, once the tournament has wrapped up.

Although this may be the first time that some guests will experience the course, many avid golfers travel to Mexico every year to play. Mazatlan and many other popular destinations in Mexico offer world-class courses with fantastic weather almost year-round. Many of the most popular timeshare resorts in Mexico offer access to these courses either on property or close-by.

Even though the tournament beings on Thanksgiving, this weekend is a very popular travel time for the resort and Mexico in general. The resort expects a great turnout.
