Wyndham Vacation Ownership

Wyndham Vacation Ownership has announced the launch of their newest vacation club, Club Wyndham Asia.

Club Wyndham Asia will be the first vacation club in Asia and will feature a mixed-use flagship property in Phuket, Thailand. This will be the newest edition to the Wyndham Vacation Ownership portfolio which currently features more than 190 timeshare resorts around the world.

The flagship property is currently operating as the Sea Pearl Villas Resort, but will undergo a rebranding and reopen as the Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort—Phuket on June 1, 2015.

Once the rebrand is complete, the resort will operate as a mixed-use property. This means that the property will operate as both a Wyndham hotel and Club Wyndham Asia timeshare resort. Wyndham has renovated 30 units into Club Wyndham apartment-style units.

Barry Robinson, who is currently the President and Managing Director of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific and Wyndham Hotel Group South East Asia and Pacific Rim, shared that this will be a huge milestone for Wyndham.

Robinson said,

“We are extremely excited to announce the launch of Club Wyndham Asia in this prime South-East Asia location. We have dedicated a substantial amount of time and resources to finding the ideal flagship property for our new vacation club. This will be our first Wyndham branded, mixed-use property in Asia and I am confident Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort—Phuket will exceed the expectations of our members and hotel guests.”

Built in 2011, the resort is positioned on 15 acres and offers 180 degree views of the Andaman Sea. Club Wyndham Asia owners can choose from eight different room types including Deluxe Jacuzzi Rooms and Deluxe Private Pool Villas. The resort will also feature four restaurants and bars, meeting rooms, fitness center, pools, yoga room, kids club, and a five-star spa.
