Westgate Park City’s Edge Steakhouse Wins “Best of State”

The Westgate Park City Resort & Spa has announced that their award-winning restaurant, Edge Steakhouse, has received yet another honor.

The timeshare resort’s steakhouse was honored with a gold medal for “Best Fine Dining Steakhouse” at the Best of State Awards Gala. This is the third consecutive year that the resort has received this prestigious honor.

This year’s gala took place on May 9, 2015, at the Salt Palace Convention Center Ballroom in Salt Lake City. In addition to this honor, the Edge Steakhouse was also provided with the 2015 BOSS Award for “Best Restaurant” for all applicable categories. This is the second time that the Edge has won a BOSS Award.

VP of Retail, Dining & Spa Operations at Westgate Resorts, Mark Mrozinski said,

“It’s a tremendous honor to receive ‘Best of State’ Awards for Edge Steakhouse. These awards reflect an ongoing standard of excellence from the world-class culinary team at Edge Steakhouse. Thanks to Westgate Park City General Manager Brian Waltrip, Edge General Manager Nicole Waltrip, Edge Executive Chef Nick Lees and their outstanding staff for their commitment to exceeding every guest’s expectation who visits the resort.”

The BOSS Awards were established to identify outstanding organizations, businesses, and individuals in the state of Utah. The BOSS Awards state that winners must “excel in their endeavors, use innovative approaches or methods, and contribute to a better quality of life in Utah.” Candidates are judged by a panel of 100 experts from around the state. Nominees are then scored on a total of 100 points.

Established in 2012, Westgate Park City’s Edge Steakhouse has only been open a short time, but has made a huge impact on the city. The restaurant combines a traditional steakhouse with a modern twist. Edge offers USDA Certified Wagyu Beef, Prime Aged Beef, and fresh fish (flown in daily). The bar boasts one of the largest wine lists in Park City, along with specialty cocktails and a variety of beers.
