Upgrades Coming to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

Disney Vero Beach Resort

Disney has planned major renovations for a number of its resorts in 2016, starting with the Vero Beach Resort. The resort opened in 1995 as Disney Vacation Club’s first timeshare development outside of the Orlando area. The more than $3.8 million refurbishment is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.

Renovations will include the main inn, two- and three-bedroom beachfront cottages, Villa 12 which features one- and two-bedroom accommodations, kitchens and bathrooms, flooring and appliances, and new televisions and furniture throughout the resort.

Once construction at Disney’s Vero Beach has been completed, . next up are two of DVC’s Orlando resorts—the Beach Club Villas and Animal Kingdom Villas.

“We’re trying to enhance and refresh our amenities on a regular basis,” said Rebecca Peddie, a spokesperson for Disney Vacation Club. “We always want our amenities to exceed our members’ expectations.”
