New Renovations Complete at the Over Water Suites of Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort

Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort is revealing its improved renovations to their Over Water Suites. The Resort as a whole is spread out across 20,000 square meters of the Maldivian blue lagoons area with 110 deluxe villas and suites on the island of South Male Atoll. Guests can access the island two ways; either by a scenic speedboat ride or a journey across the water on a seaplane.
The suites themselves span 132 square meters, and include three different types of suites—the Sunset Over Water Suites, Sunrise Over Water Suites, and the Over Water Pool Suites.
“The new renovation blends innovative design with the authentic luxury our guests are used to,” said General Manager Coetzer Deysel. “The viewing panels in the bathroom floor provide a window to the wealth of marine life native to the Maldives.”
Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort’s Over Water Suites now offer more natural light to enjoy the breathtaking views right from the available king-sized beds. The resort has also added standing bathtubs, Grohe rain showers, and wood shingle roofing along with an outdoor rinse show, iPod docking stations and Nespresso coffee machines.
Enjoy the warmth of the sun and the smell of the ocean breeze with the Over Water Suites new outdoor sun terraces, sun umbrella daybeds and al fresco dining tables. Ladders run from each deck directly to the waters of the lagoon, allowing guests to swim at their greatest convenience.
