Grand Velas Los Cabos Spa to Open in Late 2016

The brand new Grand Velas Los Cabos resort near Cabo San Lucas has one more stunning on-site amenity on the way. The Spa at Grand Velas Los Cabos is due to open later this year, and adds more onto the already above-average list of amenities at the Grand Velas resort. The health spa is expected to build upon the stellar reputations of the spa services at other Grand Velas resorts, two of which have won major awards.

The spa will encompass two levels and 35,000 square feet of space on the resort’s property, including 16 treatment rooms. Focusing on traditional and authentic rituals and treatments, the spa will offer 20 different kinds of services available to guests, called Ceremonies. For example, the Ceremony of Light includes facials and body treatments, while the Ceremony of Well-Being offers massages. Some treatments can span two hours of total body rejuvenation.

The Spa at Grand Velas Los Cabos will draw heavily from the most requested treatments at its sister resorts across Mexico. The spa at Grand Velas Riviera Maya was named Best Spa in the World by Virtuoso, while the spa at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit was awarded Conde Nast Johansen’s Most Excellent Spa Hotel numerous times. The spa and the menu of treatments have been meticulously prepared to offer guests the single best well-being experience possible.

In addition to focusing largely on all-natural treatments utilizing the resources found in the surrounding environment, the spa also includes a number of other features. Guests will find a eucalyptus-scented steam room, a polar pool, sensory shower, saunas and Jacuzzis, special bridal suites, a salon, and a barber shop. Services designed for kids and teens are also available.

Finally, the Grand Velas at Los Cabos spa will include six super-luxury Wellness Suites. These suites incorporate a number of health and well-being amenities, such as fitness equipment, spa concierge, Vitamin C sprinkler, crudite minibar, aromatherapy kit, and in-suite massages. The suites will also include a juice bar with a wide selection of healthy beverages.
