Kicking off the season of giving, Breckenridge Grand Vacations donated over $262,200 in local and regional grants, scholarships, and sponsorships to the Summit and Park County communities. This figure more than doubles their Spring grants earlier this year.

Their new program, BGV Gives, is working hard to grow the company’s giving efforts under the leadership of Deb Edwards. Using a variety of Breckenridge Grand Vacations resources, they were able to raise incredible donations this Fall. $194,700 was funded from the BGV Donor Advised Fund, $10,000 from Rob Millisor Heart Health Fund, and $57,500 directly from Breckenridge Grand Vacations sponsorships. They were able to generate these incredibly generous contributions with help from their employees Mike Millisor and Mike Dudick.

BGV Gives was able to use their funding to help 28 organizations this November, which significantly helps the surrounding communities in multiple need areas. Organizations included health and human service groups, educational establishments, and local charities. This money will go towards funding capital projects, special event sponsorships, program equipment, scholarships, educational materials, and general operating support.

Breckenridge Grand Vacations CEO, Mike Dudick, commented on the company’s commitment to giving by saying: “The act of giving enriches and strengthens the bonds that create the most genuine form of community.”
