During this year’s ARDA World 2017 in New Orleans, RCI made a $60,000 pledge to the ARDA International Foundation (AIF). The AIF is a nonprofit organization led by ARDA that works to create career opportunities and development through education and training programs.

The ARDA International Foundation was established back in 1982 in efforts to fulfill the research needs of the timeshare industry. Since then, AIF has grown significantly and offers a wide variety of services to vacation ownership professional, including research and market intelligence, professional education, certification, and scholarship programs.

RCI, the world’s leading external exchange company, is a long-time supporter of AIF and their efforts. They presented the organization with their contribution during the General Session of ARDA World 2017.

President of RCI, Gordon Gurnik, commented that the entirety of the vacation ownership industry is able to benefit from the work that is done through AIF. RCI is committed to driving the industry forward, and supporting AIF makes it possible for the organization to continue their valuable industry research and educational programs.

Howard Nusbaum, ARDA president and CEO added:

“The market intelligence that AIF generates is critical to our industry’s ability to make good business decisions and fundamental for ARDA’s advocacy efforts. In addition, AIF provides essential educational programming and tools for our industry, and RCI’s generosity greatly contributes to the success of these efforts.”
