Apple Leisure Group Adds Two New Properties – and Another Country – to Its Network

Apple Leisure Group (ALG) is developing two new resorts in St. Lucia, a country previously untouched by the company. St.Lucia is the ninth country in ALG’s growing network, which also includes properties in other Caribbean countries, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Panama. Apple Leisure Group has 16 new resorts planned to be completed by 2019—creating a network of 60 total resorts.

Apple Leisure Group CEO Alex Zozaya spoke of the new resort:

“The ALG family of companies has a deep-rooted relationship with the Caribbean. We are invested in joining projects that bring tourism to the region, creating jobs and driving an economic stimulus.”

Infinite Property Group, Ltd. is developing the new St. Lucia resorts as part of the residential and luxury resort community, Canelles Resort and Residences at Honeymoon Beach. Infinity Property Group, part of Infinite Holdings, Ltd., will also add luxury condominiums and villas, as well as an 18-hole Nicklaus Design golf course, to the community by 2020.

Apple Leisure Group Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Javier Coll discussed the collaboration involved in the project:

Two out of every ten travelers to the Caribbean are drawn to the region by ALG, making the company a major economic force in the area. By 2020, Apple Leisure Group is likely to have its one hundredth resort.
