Timbers Resorts has officially opened the first phase of their $800 million Timbers Kauai – Ocean Club & Residences at Hokuala. This project is just beginning, but has so far reached $50 million in sales for whole and fractional ownership units.

The first phase of this new Timber Resorts endeavor includes two of the three buildings—Maliula and the oceanfront Kaiholo. This includes 42 two-, three-, and four-bedroom condo units with prices starting at $355,000 and $810,000 for fractional ownership. Whole-ownership prices range from $2.59 million to $10 million.

Timber Resorts is also offering luxury vacation rental options at the property, with prices ranging from $1,5000 to $6,500 per night.

Of the 42 total units, 17 are being sold as whole-ownership units and 25 and being sold as fractional ownership properties. And of those 25 fractional units, 17 are being sold for one-twelfth interest and eight for one-sixth interest fractional ownership.

This new Timbers Resorts property also features two new restaurants—Hualani’s Restaurant and Nalu’s Pool Grill. There is also the Farm at Hokuala, and organic farm that will provide local produce for the restaurants. Guests can also indulge in high-end spa treatments at the Spa at Timbers Kauai.

“As the last ‘closer than close’ oceanfront development on the island, this is a special opportunity to experience one of the most sought-after locations in the world,” David Burden, executive chairman and founder of Timbers Resorts, said in a statement. “Like all properties in the Timbers Collection, Timbers Kauai has a strong sense of place, with every aspect honoring an authentic Hawaiian culture, laying deep roots to the community and the destination.”
