Westin Timeshare

The Westin St. John Resort Villas has finally reopened after a 16-month-long recovery and restoration efforts after the damage caused by Hurricane Irma and Maria that hit the islands in September of 2017.

General manager, Samuel Hugli, commented that the Westin resort looks incredible and he is thrilled to be back providing amazing vacation experiences to owners and guests. Hugli also mentioned how happy he is that the islands are recovering and thriving after the damage.

The U.S. Virgin Islands are still working to return to their pre-hurricane beauty and Caribbean-style vacation experiences with their powdery sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and quaint towns with shops and restaurants.

There is an all-new private ferry between The Westin St. John Resort Villas and St. Thomas that offers quick travel between the two islands for convenience. Airlines are also adding flights from the United States mainland to the U.S. Virgin Islands, making it easier for those trying to escape winter to quickly travel to the warm and sunny Caribbean.

The Westin St. John Resort Villas, after the recovery efforts, is now once again the beautiful and modern sanctuary for visitors to enjoy snorkeling, hiking, and swimming along St. John’s beaches. The resort also offers a sparkling swimming pool surrounded by lush foliage and a comfortable atmosphere. Nearby, guests can visit unique shops and delectable dining options.

For accommodations, The Westin St. John Resort Villas offers studios and multi-bedroom villas, townhouses, and lofts. These units can accommodate families large and small while offering all the comforts of home, including full kitchens and spacious living rooms. They also have added luxuries like balconies with ocean views, and private courtyards with swimming pools.

Right after the hurricanes passed, the restoration work began. Giving back to the surrounding local community was also incredibly important to the The Westin St. John Resort Villas’ associates. During the recovery, trucks from the resort distributed 5,000 gallons of water each day. Rooms and meals were also provided for the first responders. The dock at The Westin St. John Resort Villas was made available for evacuations and supply deliveries.

The Westin St. John Resort Villas also provided clean linens to local shelters and donated six cargo containers filled with dressers, desks, dining room sets, and more to local housing authorities so those that were impacted by the storms with furnishings. The resort is a big supporter of the island’s Resilient Housing Initiative, a collaborative effort between nonprofit organizations and local St. John businesses that help seniors and families rebuild their homes.
