RCI Grows Its Global Timeshare Exchange Network With New Partnerships and Resorts

Global leader in external exchange, RCI, has continued its growth by adding 103 new properties to their affiliate exchange network during the end of 2018. These new affiliations include resorts in Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, India, Latin America, and North America.
Fiona Downing, senior vice president at RCI, commented on the growth:
“We’re committed to delivering the broadest set of vacation exchange options for our members. Last year, we added 172 new affiliated properties to the RCI portfolio, a 22 percent increase over 2017, which is why we continue to be the first choice as an exchange partner for affiliated resorts and a vacation partner for our members.”
On January 1, 2019, Shell Vacations Club members were able to join the RCI network, gaining access to more than 4,300 affiliated resort across 110 countries. In addition, the 26 Shell Vacations resorts will be made available for RCI members. This gives them new opportunities to travel to the west coast, Hawaii, and Mexico.
Shell Vacations portfolio includes popular resorts like The Donatello in San Francisco and Waikiki Marina Resort at the Ilikai on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.
RCI continues to grow in Latin America, with the addition of Grand Sirenis Punta Cana and the Grand Luxxe Jungle at Riviera Maya.
There are also new Asia destinations for RCI members with four resorts from Riverside Group in China. Two of Riverside’s properties in Haiyan, Zhejiang are located within the Six Flags theme park that is currently under development. The park is set to open in late 2019 and will provide family fun for RCI members and all guests.
RCI has also added 16 resorts in India, including five properties from the Times Heaven Club. Over in Europe, RCI happily welcomed Karma resorts in Greece, France, and Italy.
The Registry Collection is RCI’s luxury vacation exchange program. This collection continues to grow with the addition of Lanais at Mare in San Juan and the Venezia Del Caribe Resort & Spa at Wyndham Grand Belize.
