Classic Holidays, one of the largest hospitality brands in the Australia and Oceania region, has begun a new partnership with Silver Sands Resort in Western Australia. The Australian-based timeshare group, Classic Holidays, has announced plans for their latest work experience program for students. The program, titled “Work Inspiration,” allows high school students to learn about resort management and working in the timeshare industry.
Classic Holidays invited 15 students to work as “trainees” at their corporate offices and affiliated resorts. Ten of these students will work at the main office, while the remaining five will work at Classic Holidays resorts. [Read more…]

Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s charity was recently recognized as a top performing program in the Australian hospitality industry.
The company’s philanthropy program, Wishes by Wyndham, won an award at the 2014 HM Awards, an event that distinguishes leaders in Australia’s hospitality industry. This year’s gala hosted over 600 industry leaders at Sydney Town Hall. Here, Wyndham was honored in the Service to the Community category.
