Colorado-based timeshare developer Breckenridge Grand Vacations recently announced plans to expand their popular Grand Colorado on Peak 8 resort. The Porches at Steamboat has received the 2015 Certificate of Excellence Award from TripAdvisor. Located at the base of Steamboat Springs Ski Resort, the Porches of Steamboat is a luxury resort built for fractional ownership.
TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence is awarded to their highest ranking resorts and hotels. When distributing the awards, TripAdvisor reviews travelers’ feedback to determine which resorts exhibit the most outstanding accommodations, amenities, and customer service. [Read more…]

Vail Resorts, Inc. has announced a $50 Million plan to upgrade the Park City Mountain Resort, one of the area’s most popular ski resorts. The organization plans to implement these changes in time for the 2015–2016 ski season.
The update will connect Park City Mountain Resort with Canyons Resorts (another popular ski destination). This plan is one of the largest and most ambitious programs in the ski industry. Experts feel it will completely transform how guests experience Park City Mountain Resort. Together the resorts will offer 7,300 acres of skiable terrain. [Read more…]

If you haven’t already heard, earlier this year Los Cabos was hit by Hurricane Odile. The storm devastated the area causing damage to homes, resorts, and the surrounding area.
After the disaster, Raintree Vacation Club had reached out to the timeshare industry for support. Many residents were affected by the hurricane, including loss of their possessions and homes.
