Fortune Magazine listed Interval Leisure Group (ILG) as one of its “100 Fastest-Growing Public Companies”. ILG is a vacation ownership company which holds licenses to such recognized brands as Westin, Sheraton, and Hyatt, and this was the first time the company appeared on Fortune’s list.

Diamond Resorts International announced that Matthew Avril will adopt the role of Chief Executive Officer for the powerhouse vacation ownership brand effective January 1, 2017. Avril will also join the Board of Directors of Diamond Resorts’ parent company.

Interval Leisure Group recently announced that it will change its name to ILG, effective immediately. This new change reflects their new corporate identity, coming after a time of strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and organic initiatives.
