Diamond Resorts has partnered with Audubon International to increase awareness of green initiatives throughout the vacation ownership industry. Joining Audubon’s Green Lodging program will ensure that all of the Diamond Resorts properties in North America will implement environmental best practice standards.

Karma Group has just announced the appointment of Anton Tardif as the new Chief Operations Officier in Europe. Tardif previously owned a very successful development and marketing company that was responsible for the development of many resorts, primarily in Europe. He also led in the sales and expansion of membership programs, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the Karma Group.

Diamond Resorts has added a new affiliate property and sales center, opening this month in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This new property is called hotel BLUE and will join the other Diamond Resorts affiliates in Myrtle Beach including Dunes Village Resort, Marina Inn at Grand Dunes, and Peppertree Ocean Club.

One of the leaders in external exchange services for vacation ownership brands, Interval International, recently honored the CEO of Morritt Properties Cayman Ltd., David Morritt, for his continued contributions to the Cayman Islands’ tourism industry. Interval International also recognized Hon. Moses Kirkconnell, Cayman Islands’ deputy premier and minister of District Administration, Tourism and Transport, for his leadership in the tourism sector.
