Club Melia Renames Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta Resorts

Melia Hotels International has announced that they will rebrand their Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta resorts into Melia Vacation Club Cozumel and Melia Vacation Club Puerto Vallarta.

Executive Vice President for Club Melia Onofre Servera said,

“The new names and brand reflect the resorts’ new family-focused facilities, services and amenities, including high-level room and guest area enhancements. They both clearly now offer the most expansive family activities program in their renowned destinations exclusively for our members and guests, without losing their competitiveness in the wedding, reception, honeymoon and romance segments, as well as in the meetings, conventions, incentive and events business.”

Melia Vacation Club Puerto Vallarta

Located in one of the most popular destinations in Mexico, the newly renamed Melia Vacation Club Puerto Vallarta is one of the club’s most popular resorts. In addition to the rebranding, the resort has also added a few updates. They recently completed a new activity center for children, known as Flintstones Land™. The new recreational area includes the new Baby Rock Club for infants and toddlers and the Bamm Bamm Club for kids ages 5–12. Children can also play video games in the Cool Club room, try their luck at mini golf, jump in the bungee trampoline area, and enjoy a Bronto Breakfast with Flintstones characters.

Teens ages 12–15 have their own area. They can explore the batting cages, climbing wall, kayak tours, pool games, and beach games. Adults can have fun in Flintstones Land too. Melia Vacation Club now offers archery, a shooting range, lacrosse, ping-pong, tennis, beach volleyball, water aerobics, water polo, yoga, kayaking, and more.

Melia Vacation Club Cozumel

The Melia Vacation Club Cozumel also features a new action-adventure park. The new Pirate Park features archery, batting cages, and paintball courts. Families can also spend a night camping at the park or on the beach. The resort now also features a Mayan-themed mini golf course, a perfect way to relax after visiting the real Mayan ruins.

Melia’s Cozumel location also features a Flintstones-themed section with Kids Car ED, a fun, interactive program where kids can drive on a mini-highway.

These activities are only some of the many amenities offered at the Melia Vacation Club resorts. Visit to learn more about the Melia Vacation Club Cozumel and the Melia Vacation Club Puerto Vallarta.
