On Wednesday, January 9, a panel of timeshare industry professionals will offer insights on timeshare jobs and careers in the vacation ownership industry. The discussion panel, facilitated by University of Central Florida Assistant Professor Dr. Amy Gregory, will review and answer questions on timeshare job benefits, career opportunities, and many of the misconceptions about the timeshare industry.
The panel will speak at the UCF Darden Auditorium, between 10:30 AM and 11:45 AM and is hosted by the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. The session is scheduled to include a video presentation, information about the upcoming American Resort Development Association (ARDA) conference; a question and answer period with the panelists, and information about ARDA conference participation and scholarship opportunities.
Insights on Timeshare Jobs and Careers
Many people looking for new jobs or to begin their careers, do not realize that professionals employed in timeshare jobs and the vacation ownership industry often earn 10 to 20 percent higher incomes than do their counterparts in traditional hotels. Each year, US timeshares generate more than $70 billion and employ nearly half a million people, which translates to $23 billion in salaries.
The University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management is a distinguished resource for preparing individuals for timeshare jobs and lifelong careers and is widely respected for its research.
Wednesday’s session on timeshare jobs is open to the public and you do not have to preregister to attend. For more information, contact UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management 407.903.8000
