Hilton Grand Vacations Launches Volunteer Travel Program in Orlando

Hilton Grand VacationsThis morning, Hilton Grand Vacations declared the launch of their new charitable event, the Travel with Purpose Volunteer Program.

The new Orlando-based program will feature fun, hands-on volunteer activities for Vacation Club members while traveling. Hilton Grand Vacations Club (HGVC) members and their families can participate in these projects while on vacation at various Hilton resorts.

At the Parc Soleil Suites at Hilton Grand Vacations Club, members and guests can participate in programs to help local charities. For example, guests can create life-saving supplies for military service men & women with the Travel with Purpose Paracord Survival Bracelet.

The resort also offers Operation: Gratitude where children can participate in variety of preparedness and relief activities in Central Florida. Kids can help pack emergency kits for Orlando families, learn about important resources in the environment, and learn how to sustain these resources.

Hilton Grand Vacations is excited to bring this opportunity to their guests and the Orlando community.

Senior VP Club and Resorts for Hilton Grand Vacations, Kim Kreiger said, “The Hilton Grand Vacations family is proud to launch this new program that provides opportunities for our timeshare owners and guests to help strengthen the communities where they travel. Just as we provide unforgettable experiences for our Club Members and guests, we have the ability to provide meaningful opportunities and support to local neighbors in need.”

Although this particular program is based in Orlando, Travel with Purpose is a global effort by Hilton Worldwide. According to Hilton, Travel with Purpose was founded on four key focuses: “creating opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential; strengthening communities where we operate; celebrating cultures and the power of travel; and living sustainably through the measurement, analysis and improvement of our use of natural resources.”

For those looking to participate in the program throughout their vacation, Hilton has also announced a partial proceeds opportunity. Guest dining at the Café Soleil bar & grill can help by trying the new Charity Chiller cocktail. For ever Charity Chiller that is purchased, $3 will be donated to the Travel with Purpose Volunteer Program. A non-alcoholic version is also available.
