Breckenridge Grand Vacations Helps Victims of Hurricane Odile

If you haven’t already heard, earlier this year Los Cabos was hit by Hurricane Odile. The storm devastated the area causing damage to homes, resorts, and the surrounding area.

After the disaster, Raintree Vacation Club had reached out to the timeshare industry for support. Many residents were affected by the hurricane, including loss of their possessions and homes. While many companies responded, Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) brought fundraising efforts to the next level.

Besides general fundraising efforts, BGV also collected funds with the help of their employees. To encourage employees to contribute, BGV offered to match each dollar donated. This money went directly to Raintree to assist in the rebuilding of homes damaged by the hurricane.

BGV Owner/Developer Mike Millisor said, “We embrace the culture of giving back and are blessed to help these families in need. Our timeshare resort community is stronger as the result of our mutual support and we are more than willing to lend a hand where we can.”

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is the umbrella company of four resorts in the mountains of Colorado. You may be familiar with the Gold Point Resort, Grand Lodge on Peak 7, and Grand Timber Lodge.

The group is currently building the Grand Colorado on Peak 8, which is expected to open during summer of 2016.
