Wednesday, December 16, 2015
Club Med announced an unusual partnership today, one with Facebook. This will make it the first global tourism company to offer “Facebook at Work” to its staff of over 13,000 employees in more than 40 countries worldwide.
“Facebook at Work” is intended for businesses and allowing employees to communicate more effectively with each other and with management. This will aid Club Med in connecting its teams spread across five continents and representing more than 110 different nationalities, as well as in sharing and improving the guest experience across the globe at every Club Med property. Employees will be able to collaborate with each other, share ideas, and have a place to brainstorm new ways to improve across time zones, languages and platforms.
Anne Browaeys-Level, Chief Digital Marketing Officer at Club Med, stated:
“We are proud to be the first global tourism company to deploy “Facebook at Work”. Our mission is to please our customers when they stay at Club Med resorts. This mission feeds our employee culture, where we strive to be transparent, multicultural and innovative. We’re always looking for new ways of fostering this culture across the whole company. “Facebook at Work” is a user-friendly mobile tool which will be essential to contribute to pooling ideas and innovation at Club Med, creating a more productive workplace.”
