Velas Resorts Win Multiple Traveler’s Choice Awards

Velas Resorts has added more accolades to their properties. The popular Mexican-based brand of resorts took home several TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice awards for best all-inclusive properties. The awards are the latest in a string of successes for Velas Resorts, whose timeshare ownership options are quickly becoming the best in Mexico.

The 2016 TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards again sought out Velas Resorts for their exceptional accommodations and amenities. For the category of Top 10 All-Inclusive Resorts in the World, The Grand Velas resorts in Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit each earned a spot. The remaining Velas resorts joined those two in the category of Top 10 All-Inclusive Resorts in Mexico.

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit also earned a distinction for a top hotel in Mexico for service, and the Riviera Maya resort earned the same award for families. Both the Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit were named among the top 25 luxury resorts in Mexico. This year’s Traveler’s Choice awards was the first where all four Velas Resorts properties received an Elite distinction, awarded to only the top 1% of all hotels on TripAdvisor.

The Traveler’s Choice awards are the latest distinctions that Velas Resorts can add to its name. The hugely popular resort chain already claims 43 AAA Diamond awards, Conde Nast Traveler’s “Worlds’ Best,” Virtuoso’s Best Spa Award, and many more. Fans of Velas Resorts and vacation ownership enthusiasts look forward to the chain’s newest resort, the Grand Velas Los Cabos, which has combined the best features of the four other properties, and is expected to be one of the top resorts in Los Cabos.
