The global talent, retirement, and health solutions business Aon recently announced that Marriott Vacations Club has been named a 2018 Aon Best Employer by Aon Hewitt in the United States, United Kingdom, Thailand, Spain, Ireland, Indonesia, France, and Australia. Marriott Vacations Worldwide was named on Orlando Sentinel‘s “Top 100 Companies” list for 2018, ranking 7th in the Large Division and the highest ranked vacation ownership company. Marriott Vacations Worldwide donated over 101,000 pounds of food from their Harvest for Hunger food drive as part of their fight to help end world hunger. Through the month of November, non-perishable food items were donated by associates. Marriott Vacation Club resort owners and guests were also invited to participate. The donations benefited local food banks near the resorts and offices.

Hurricane Irma tore its way through the Caribbean and Florida earlier this month, making it the second substantial hurricane to hit the U.S. this season following Hurricane Harvey. The storm wreaked havoc on popular travel destinations, resulting in massive evacuations and severe damages to infrastructure.
