Just announced, Bluegreen Vacation Corporation has entered into an exclusive agreement that allows them to acquire The Manhattan Club. This agreement also lets Bluegreen obtain inventory now, while the official management contract at The Manhattan Club will be procured by 2021.

Wyndham Destinations has just announced the appointment of Barry Robinson to the position of President and Managing Director of International Operations for Wyndham Vacation Clubs. He will now be overseeing the operations of the timeshare business outside of North America.

For the eighth year in a row, the United States timeshare industry has seen growth. This study and information is from the State of the Vacation Timeshare Industry: United States Study 2018 Edition, and is conducted by EY for the ARDA International Foundation (AID). In 2017, sales volume increased nearly four percent to $9.6 billion. Average occupancy rate was over 81 percent as well.

Timbers Resorts has officially opened the first phase of their $800 million Timbers Kauai – Ocean Club & Residences at Hokuala. This project is just beginning, but has so far reached $50 million in sales for whole and fractional ownership units.
