Diamond Resorts Invitational

Diamond Resorts has announced that military and first responders will be offered complimentary admissions to the Diamond Resorts Invitational second annual golf tournament at Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort Florida happening on January 13-15, 2017.

This second annual event benefits Florida Hospital for Children and is now a PGA TOUR Champions Challenge Season Event. The tournament will feature up to 30 PGA TOUR Champions and up to 50 top-rated sports and entertainment celebrities. The Diamond Resorts Invitational takes place over three days and includes a total of 54 holes. The PGA TOUR Champions will compete for $750,000, while the celebrities will play for a $500,000 purse.

Diamond Resorts International has offered two free three-day grounds passes for the tournament for all active and retired military as well as active and retired police, fire, and emergency medical technician personnel.

The tournament week will begin on Thursday, January 12th. Brian Gay Pro-Am, four-time PGA TOUR winner and Orlando resident, will host the 18-hole celebrity-amateur competition. There will also be an evening gala and concert at Mystic Dunes Resort and Golf Club that same evening. During the gala, there will be a live and silent auction for the Florida Hospital for Children. This has raised over $1.7 million for the hospital over the past three years.

All service men and women and first responders can enter the promo code “SALUTE2017” on the designated registration page and either print their ticket or pick it up at the event. Participants must show photo ID and official military or first responder identification to receive their free admission. Full details can be found on the official website.
