Ritz-Carlton, a brand name that belongs to high-end luxury hotel properties around the world, has opened the doors to its newest addition in the Kazakh capital city of Astana. The new hotel, located in the center of one of the fastest-growing travel destinations in Central Asia, provides luxurious rooms, residences, restaurants, health spas, and more.

The Ritz-Carlton Astana is located in a mixed-use facility called the Talan Towers. The facility also includes a business center and shops to give hotel guests access to additional amenities. Located next to the iconic Bayterek Tower, the new property brings the best in luxury and conveniences when it comes to Kazakhstan hotels.

The hotel includes more than 150 guest rooms, 32 suites, and 27 residences with views of the surrounding urban attractions. The Ritz-Carlton Astana will also feature a club lounge on the 14th floor, as well as an on-site spa that will offer guests signature treatments and experiences. Three new restaurants, dubbed Ɵzen, Mökki, and Selfie Astana, will also be located at the hotel to provide exquisite dining options in the heart of the city.

Herve Humler, president and COO of Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, spoke of the importance of the new hotel and its location:

“We are excited to be launching The Ritz-Carlton in this flourishing capital and can’t wait to help our guests discover what made The New York Times call Astana one of the 52 places to visit in 2017.” He went on to add, “The Ritz-Carlton, Astana represents the future of Astana and acknowledges the city’s growing power and prominence. By bringing The Ritz-Carlton’s legacy of service together with Kazakhstan’s traditional culture of hospitality, our guests will feel truly at home in this city as they experience all that Astana has to offer as it comes into its own.”

The hotel will go on to benefit from the city’s promising future in the travel and tourism space. The upcoming international exposition Astana EXPO-2017 is expected to bring between 3 and 4 million travelers to the city this year, presenting a big upside for the newly-opened Ritz-Carlton Astana.
