Hacienda Tres Rios is Awarded Best Family Resort in Mexico and Central America

For the second year in a row, Hacienda Tres Rios was fortunate enough to receive the Best Family Resort in Mexico & Central America Award by the World Travel Awards (WTA) in Riviera Maya. The WTV has given Hacienda Tres Rios nine awards in the past eight years.

The World Travel Awards was established in 1993 and serves as an organization that recognizes, rewards and celebrates excellence in the travel and tourism industry. The awards are given based on voting from tourism professionals, focusing on the quality of the services, operations, and resort facilities.

Hacienda Tres Rios was congratulated by Sion Rapson, the Vice President of WTA. Rapson noted the resort’s commitment to quality vacation experience and how it has a positive effect in the success of the destination.

This year’s WTA’s was dominated by destinations in the Caribbean with a selection of hotels, parks, attractions, and convention centers receiving awards. There were more than 40 nominations and 25 awards in the Mexico and Central America categories.
