PGA TOUR Tournament is Wyndham Worldwide and Wyndham Timeshare Winner

Wyndham Worldwide, parent company of Wyndham timeshare, was honored by the PGA Tour for its “Escape to Wyndham” tour sponsorship. Each year Wyndham Worldwide sponsors a PGA Tour tournament that is played at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The tournament, founded in 1938, is one of the longest running events on the PGA Tour.

The Escape to Wyndham ad campaign, presents the Wyndham Tour event as an, “escape from everyday life or a mini-vacation for patrons.” The ad campaign was carried out on billboards, airport and hotel graphics, posters at businesses, street signage, and in print and electronic advertising. To turn the tournament into an escape experience, fans attending the tournament were greeted with leis and a sand sculpture ‘Wyndham beach,’ as well as Tiki hut-style information kiosks hosted by Wyndham Worldwide concierge staff in tropical attire. Even the golf carts driven by key tournament personnel were decorated to carry out the tropical theme.
