More on Marriott’s Grande Pines Golf Club

Golf course architect, Steve Smyers, in partnership with Nick Faldo (winner of 6 golf Majors), designed the championship course at Marriott’s Grande Pines Golf Club. Situated in a setting of native Florida flora and wetlands, the course is proud to have been recognized as a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses.

The 7,012 yard, par 72, course golf course is designed to challenge a golfer’s shot making skills.  Marriott’s Grande Pines is located just off the popular tourist area of International Drive, Orlando, yet, surrounded by pines, palms, and stately oaks, the course offers a golfer’s oasis in the middle of America’s favorite vacation destination.

More about Marriott Vacation Club and Winnie Palmer Hospital

Last summer, Marriott Vacations Worldwide (often called Marriott Vacation Club) announced that it would focus resources on supporting a charitable initiative to benefit the Greater Orlando Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising efforts towards the expansion of The Alexander Center for Neonatology (NICU) at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.

A portion of the neonatology unit expansion will be recognized as the “Marriott Vacations Worldwide NICU-Pod” memorializing the commitment by Marriott timeshare to helping children, including the tiniest newborns being born in Central Florida. Marriott Vacations Worldwide has committed to raise more than $1 million to benefit the program.

Marriott Vacation Club Owners and guests at the seven Central Florida Marriott timeshare resorts are being given the opportunity to get involved by rounding-up their final folio balance to the nearest dollar, with the additional funds supporting the campaign. Additionally, guests will be able to donate their spare change to the campaign by leaving it in special envelopes upon checkout.
