Sunday, June 2, 2013
California based Travel To Go, a leading resort vacation company providing travel services and benefits, was a “King” sponsor of the Royal Family KIDS golf tournament. The event was held to fund a summer week of camp for over 7000 kids, and was played at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita, California.
Royal Family KIDS is one of the top non-profit organizations in the US dedicated to providing summer camps and mentoring programs for children ages 6-12 who are in foster care. The organization includes a network of volunteers, churches, and business professionals working together.
Travel To Go not only served as an event sponsor but donated a resort vacation to kick-off the silent auction held at the charity dinner after the tournament.
Rick Greaney , who bid to win the vacation, thanked Travel To Go’s president, Jeanette Bunn, saying, “Just wanted to say thank you for your quick response with my itinerary for the Ka’anapali Beach Club. I would also like to thank you for donating this great live auction item to the First Annual Royalty Family KIDS’ Golf Tournament. What a great day was had by all, but more importantly we were able to support such a special group of kids.”
Rick added, “Thanks to people like you and your company, events such as these are made successful! It gives people like me the chance to support the kids while at the same time granting me an opportunity to go to a beautiful beach resort. Now that’s a hole in one! See you next year, and thanks for all that you do!”
Since Royal Family KIDS was founded in 1985, it has served over 80,000 children and has grown to a network of camps sponsored by churches in 26 denominations throughout 36 states and 5 foreign countries.
