How’s This for Topping Off Marriott’s Grand Chateau?
Thursday, August 22, 2013
Marriott Vacation Club (Marriott timeshare) has announced the topping out of the third, 37-story tower of its Las Vegas timeshare resort, Marriott’s Grand Chateau. In case you are not familiar with the construction concept of “topping out” (sometimes called topping off), it indicates that the last beam has been set in place during the construction phase of a project.
With an ideal location at 75 East Harmon Avenue, just off the famous Las Vegas Strip, the new tower at Marriott’s Grand Chateau is expected to be ready for occupancy by mid-2014. It has taken just over a year to complete the structure on the high-rise, that when finished will include 233 one-, two- and three-bedroom timeshare villas, ranging in size from 810 to 2,070 square feet.
“We’re extremely pleased with the progress that has been made on our third tower at this great destination and look forward to having our Owners and guests enjoy the new villas and amenities,” says Lee Cunningham, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation. Cunningham adds, “The design of these new villas is exceptional and the resort’s location provides easy access and countless choices for entertainment on the famed Las Vegas Strip.”
