Wyndham Vacation Ownership Member Wins 2014 Lexus

Hollis Cox is the proud new owner of a 2014 Lexus ISC, thanks to Wyndham Vacation Ownership’s Accelerate into the Fast Lane Sweepstakes.

In a press release, Wyndham announced the lucky winner and his reaction to the grand prize.

“When I first received the call telling me I had won, I thought it was friends playing a trick on me,” said Hollis Cox. “You never know people who actually win a car; they’re just a name on a list.”

Cox, who has been a member of CLUB WYNDHAM ® since 2012, soon realized that this was no joke. He quickly made plans to attend the Wyndham Vacation Ownership (WVO) Accelerate into the Fast Lane Sweepstakes presentation, where he would accept his prize from WVO executives.

The ceremony took place at the Wyndham Ocean Boulevard, located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Cox attended with his daughter, who is also a CLUB WYNDHAM® timeshare owner, and his two grandchildren.

WVO’s chief sales & marketing officer, Jeff Myers said, “Hollis’ story is illustrative of the value of owning with Wyndham. Hollis realized the benefit of ownership after traveling with his daughter’s points. Since he purchased last year, he’s used his own points to spend time with his mother, children and grandchildren. All members who stayed at a CLUB WYNDHAM®, WorldMark® by Wyndham, Shell Vacations resort, or attended an owner update meeting were automatically entered into the contest. Cox was entered when attended the Wyndham Riverside Suites in August 2013. In September his name was drawn from more than 90,000 members.

Wyndham timeshare owners still have the chance to win their own Lexus through the Accelerate into the Fast Lane Sweepstakes. The next winner will be pulled on April 8th, 2014.
