ARDA Announces the 2014 ARDA World Convention

ARDA (American Resort Development Association), the primary trade association for the timeshare industry, has just announced their plans for the 2014 ARDA World Convention.

The theme for the 2014 ARDA World Convention and Exposition will be “Next Gen”, a focus on the next generation of consumers, products, businesses, and distribution methods. The 2014 convention will take place April 6–10 in Las Vegas at the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino.

Each year, industry professionals from across the nation meet to network and share best practices. ARDA anticipates that over 3,000 industry professionals will attend this year’s event.

Included in this group of attendees is an exciting line-up of speakers. This year’s keynote speaker is Scott Klososky. Klososky is a business leader and public speak who specializes in technology and communication trends. Other speakers include Michael Durant, the author who inspired the film Black Hawk Down.

ARDA President and CEO, Howard Nusbaum said, “This year’s ARDA World will be very exciting since we are taking a collective look at what is coming next in our industry. From design to finance to marketing, our schedule is built around the next generation. We encourage everyone to make the trip to Las Vegas for this one!”

This year’s schedule includes a quick off event known as the “ICE Breaker Party”. Additional events include Interval International’s “Party with a Cause” and the 13th annual AIF Open Golf Tournament.
To finish out the week, the annual ARDA Awards Gala will take place on the last evening of the event. The gala includes an exquisite dinner, awards ceremony, and entertainment by comedian Elon Gold.

Next Gen Social Media

To support the “next gen” theme, rather than printing convention programs, all information will be available through ARDA’s mobile app, ARDA World. This innovative app will be released mid-march, just in time for the convention. ARDA also encourages industry members to embrace social media by following @ARDAorg on twitter and sharing the hashtag #ARDAWorld.
