The popular Auberge du Soleil in Napa Valley was voted as the number 12 resort in the Continental U.S. and received a score of 92.81. This is the second time the resort has gained a spot on the list, granting them a spot in the Hall of Fame. The Esperanza resort in Cabo San Lucas also earned the honor of 9th best resort in Mexico with a score of 92.48.

Founder and Managing Partner of Auberge Resorts, Mark Harmon said, “We are incredibly honored to be recognized once again on the World’s Best Awards and are grateful to our guests for their loyalty. Since the beginning, we have striven for excellence across the board to deliver a completely immersive experience, from exceptional culinary experiences to thoughtful service. We look forward to taking the Auberge concept to new markets in the year to come.”

Each year, eligible hotels are rated through a survey by Travel + Leisure readers. This survey is one of the most prestigious reader-based surveys in the travel industry. Participants grade resorts based on rooms, location, food, service, and value. They also rate Hospitality brands based upon their destinations, facilities, food, design, service, and value.

The entire list of winner will be available in Travel + Leisure’s August 2014 magazine and digital issue.
