The past few months, portions of the Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta were closed for extensive renovations. Last week, the resort finally reopened and unveiled a new, more stylish look.

Puerto Vallarta was the first Villa del Palmar resort, and has always displayed a more traditional style. With this multimillion dollar project, the resort updated their traditional Mexican décor into a modern luxury resort.

Villa del Palmar representative, Paul E. Moreno said, “Our property has been a favorite among guests due to our beachfront location and close proximity to the historic downtown area of Puerto Vallarta. With our trendy new look and style, there is even more to love and experience at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta.”

The 551 guest rooms were completely decorate with pop-culture artwork, colorful textures, and sleek furniture. These private villa suites were redecorated by Karoll Gonzalez. When envisioning the resort, Gonzalez said that she wanted guests to feel as if they were in their “own little Mexican home.”

In addition to the guest rooms, the entrance to the resort was remodeled to include lush greenery and a new waterfall. The resort’s two pools were also updated with pebbles and blue umbrellas for a more luxurious feel.
