Welk Resorts Receives Both RCI & II Awards

This week, Welk Resorts was awarded prestigious honors from both RCI and Interval International. Several Welk Resorts’ properties received the honor of becoming an RCI Gold Crown Resort®, while others received the Interval International Premier Resort® Distinction. Two of Welk’s properties received both awards.

Welks Resorts is a San Diego-based organization, and an up-and-coming leader in the vacation ownership industry. Five of Welk’s properties received these awards including:

  • Welk Resort Branson—2015 Interval International Premier Resort® Distinction
  • Welk Resort Desert Oasis—RCI Gold Crown Resort® & 2015 Interval International Premier Resort® Distinction
  • Welk Resort Northstar Lodges—2015 Interval International Premier Resort® Distinction
  • Welk Resort San Diego—RCI Gold Crown Resort® & 2015 Interval International Premier Resort® Distinction
  • Welk Resort Sirena Del Mar—2015 Interval International Premier Resort® Distinction

The RCI Gold Crown Resorts® Distinction is awarded to resorts who have shown excellent accommodations, amenities, and customer service. To qualify, eligible resorts within the RCI timeshare exchange network are measured by RCI member experience ratings. Those with excellent ratings in all categories are then reviewed for Gold and Silver Crown ratings.

The 2015 Interval International Premier Resort® status is similar to the RCI Gold Crown award, as it designates Interval’s top resorts. Properties within Interval’s exchange network that deliver exceptional standards and vacations may receive this distinction through a rating program. Results are base upon a variety of factors including property inspections and customer feedback.
