Wednesday, February 11, 2015
This week, Disney announced the addition of 22 members to their 2015 Disney Parks Moms Panel. Established in 2008, the Disney Parks Moms Panel provides tips and information for vacationers traveling within any segment of Disney’s network.
Each member of the panel specializes in a segment of Disney travel such as: Disney Vacation Club, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, runDisney, and more.
Members come from all over the world including: the U.S., South America, Canada, and Europe. This year, in addition to English and Spanish, Disney has also introduced French and Portuguese as language options.
Director of social media for Disney Parks, Leanne O’Regan, explains, “Those of us on the selection committee this year were excited by the increased number of applicants from all over the world. We recognize the importance of implementing additional language options that cater to our culturally diverse guests.”
Back in September 2014, thousands of people from around the globe submitted applications to join the committee. From the pool of applicants, Disney selected 22 new members to join the acclaimed panel. With this new class, the panel now has 50 members.
Although it is called the Disney Parks Moms Panel, the the committee is comprised of moms, dads, and grandparents. Together, the members of panel are able to provide advice to new and returning Disney vacationers. On the panel’s website, guests can ask any question that their heart desires. They’ll offer tips on accommodations, dining, park events, child care, and cruise itineraries.
Disney also plans to optimize the Disney Parks Moms Panel website for tablets and mobile devices, making planning a vacation easy no matter where you are.
