Mahindra Holiday’s new resort offers the familiarity of a timeshare resort, with the natural beauty of India. Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd. announced the opening of its newest location—Club Mahindra Kanha—at a press conference in Mumbai.
Located in Madhya Pradesh, India, the new property will be the timeshare group’s fifth “wildlife” resort in the Club Mahindra Brand. Mahindra Holiday’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Kavinder Singh, made the announcement.
Mr. Singh said, “Club Mahindra Kanha is our fifth wildlife resort and the first in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh government is observing 2015 as ‘Tourism Year’ and we are excited to partner them in this drive. Our new resort, located on the outskirts of Kanha National Park, is a wildlife lover’s delight and we aim to provide our members with diverse and differentiated experiences while they vacation with us.”
Club Mahindra Kanha sits atop 15 acres of green fields. Although the grounds are widespread, the resort itself is quite small. The resort offers only 50 units: 32 studios and 18 one-bedroom apartments. Resort amenities include a spa, an outdoor pool, an activity center, and a kids’ club.
While the resort offers all the modern amenities of a timeshare resort, it is located next to one of India’s most popular destinations, the Kanha National Park.
This is not just a typical “zoo” experience. Known as the”Land of Tigers,” the park allows you to take a safari through acres of grassland to see bears, leopards, and you guessed it—tigers.
