Disney Vacation Club Announces New Timeshare Resort
Thursday, September 24, 2015
The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has announced that they will be building a new timeshare resort at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
The resort, located on Disney’s Bay Lake, will become DVC’s 14th property. Disney has not released many details about the project, but we do know that the development will offer deluxe accommodations and waterfront cabins.
Disney also plans to update non-timeshare areas of the resort, including the existing guest rooms and common areas. Renovations will also include new recreation and dining options.
Established in 1991, the Disney Vacation Club provides a vacation ownership packages through a flexible, points-based system. Over the past 25 years, the Disney Vacation Club has attracted members from over 100 countries, including families from all 50 states.
Although DVC can be a great option for frequent visitors of Walt Disney World and Disneyland, Disney also owns resorts in popular travel destinations such as Hilton Head Island, Vero Beach, and Ko Olina, Hawaii. In addition, members can travel to exciting and exotic destinations around the globe through DVC’s World Collection and Concierge Collection.
At The Timeshare Authority, we’re excited to see what Disney has in store for their newest timeshare resort. Will new waterfront cabins resemble Disney’s Polynesian Bungalows or something entirely different? Stay tuned to The Timeshare Authority blog to find out.
