Ramada Continues Expansion into New Zealand with New Resort

As a part of the Wyndham Hotel Group, Ramada Worldwide ® is a global chain of nearly 840 midscale and upscale hotels, and is now including its fifth resort in New Zealand. New Zealand’s Worldmark Resort Rotorua will be rebranded to Ramada Resort Rotorua Marama.

Located on the shores of Lake Rotorua and the Oahu Channel, the resort features 78 self-contained apartments, fully-equipped kitchens, modernized bathrooms, a deck, and even in-suite washer and dryers. The resort grounds also include a private boat ramp, boat parking, trout fishing, pool and spa, barbeque areas, gym and a tennis court.

Ramada Resort Rotorua Marama will operate as a mixed-use resort, accommodating both hotel guests and vacation owners through WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham.

“Ramada is a highly recognisable, global brand known for offering outstanding accommodations in key destinations around the world,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director, Wyndham Hotel Group South East Asia and Pacific Rim. “WorldMark Resort Rotorua has long been a favourite of vacation owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club and it’s our belief that this rebranding will help deliver even more guests to the resort, allowing travellers from around the world the opportunity to experience all that Rotorua has to offer.”
