Summer Bay Orlando to Open New Recreation Pavilion
Wednesday, April 27, 2016
After a year of development, Exploria Resorts will be unveiling their new 10,500 square foot Recreation Pavilion at the Summer Bay Orlando Resort this summer.
The resort brand teamed up with Wellsboro Construction to build a centralized location at their property to bring leisurely and engaging activities to enhance the vacation experience. The new Recreation Pavilion will offer an arcade, fitness center, movie theatre, billiards room, owners lounge, and spaces for other daily activities.
Guests will be able to check out recreational equipment at the pavilion, and will be able to play a plethora of sporting activities including basketball, bocce ball, ping-pong, horseshoes, tennis, and volleyball. The pavilion also features a luxurious movie theater that will screen the latest releases daily, as well as offer popcorn, candy, and soda for purchase. Space is also available for guests to have their own private screening or to host events during the course of their stay.
The owner’s lounge features a library, coffee station, luxury seating, and computers and printers for use. Head over to the game room for some interactive fun with gaming consoles, large flat screen televisions, a billiards table, board games, and video game checkouts. The fitness center will host state of the art equipment and a multi-purpose room for guests who want to enjoy working out or activities that are a little more active.
“The Recreation Pavilion will bring families together under one roof and offer multiple gathering spaces to facilitate ‘staying connected,” shared Paul Caldwell, CEO/President of Exploria Resorts. “This $2 million dollar facility features an upscale design aesthetic and offers guests an alternative gathering space to the Resort Clubhouse where many of the amenities of the Recreation Pavilion were previously stationed.”
